It's Been a While :D

I guess I got a little discouraged and stopped blogging here. Oy. I tend to do that a lot. I'll try to keep writing regardless of whether my expectations are met or not, though, as it would be neat to be able to read all this one day. I definitely don't trust myself to remember all this without a little help!

Anyway, Christmas is coming, how exciting! I love love love Christmas, but this year it somehow managed to sneak up on me. It never does... I usually start a countdown towards the end of October, or maybe early November... so I don't know what happened this year. It could be the fact that B and I spent most of October on holidays in South America... or the fact we were doing fertility related countdowns and didn't really think of much else... bottom line is: I'm becoming increasingly aware of the fact there are presents under the christmas tree in the living room and I cannot wait 'til the 24th is here!

Unfortunately I'm not getting a pregnancy for Christmas as I had wished. We got new ovulation predictors from the fertility clinic and they completely failed.. made me miss a cycle. The instructions were clear: the bottom line had to be darker than the top line. That NEVER happened. I got a slightly lighter bottom line one day, and the next day there was no line. Well, we're definitely going back to Clear Blue strips now! The clinic will  be closed during the holidays, though, so that's another cycle I will have to miss. That's okay, though, January it is. Hopefully my thyroid levels will be perfect by then, and it'll be another cycle of clomiphene. Not looking forward to the hot flashes, but hey - if it helps!
