Still Trying

We had yet another failed IUI, so the fertility doctor thought we could go ahead and do a superovulation cycle. We've had our injection teaching classes (had to have 2 as they decided to change the medicine after my ultrasound), and the ultrasound done.

I spent about 15 minutes trying to give myself a shot yesterday, and came to the conclusion that jabbing oneself with a needle is just not natural lol After I finally did it, though, it wasn't that bad. It's still sore, but not bad. 1 down, 9 to go.

I really hope this one will work... this whole process is just exhausting.

Wow, it's been really long since I last posted anything here. I'm very good at reading other people's blogs, but not so much at keeping my own.

Well, still no pregnancy. Our last IUI didn't take... and then a few things happened that prevented me from having another one done just yet. I went to the doctors to check my night sweats, so he sent me for a thyroid ultrasound as he thought I might have a cyst. Since I was going to be at the X-Ray clinic anyway, I asked if I could just get my breast ultrasound done at the same time. I've had lumps since I was 18 so I have to get it checked every now and then.

Results got back: thyroid was fine, but they wanted a breast biopsy of the bigger lump. It took quite a while to get it scheduled, and I'm still waiting on results. I could go into a lot more details, but if I try to right I'd probably just end up not posting anything as I am so tired.

Also getting tired of waiting for this to work, but hey, it will be worth it.
